Year 2002. This letter was made for Janteng Dela Cruz, a good friend of mine in high school. We are not "best friends", we are more telephone and kalokohan buddies since third year high school. Yep, I know a lot about his kalokohans and crushes hahaha!

Today, he sent this photo of unique message written by me and abet (another close friend), sad to know, i can't decipher/read the message now. I just recall we created our own "alibata" and created this message. Unfortunately the code has been washed by the flood back then.

To Janteng, Thank you for sending the picture (it really made my day) and welcome back again to the floating island of Hagonoy, Bulacan.
I wish to see you soon!

This is my first post using the power of Adobe Photoshop in my photo, well I'm using a lower version but I'm happy I came up with something new. I'm a regular user of Adobe Lightroom not Photoshop because I just wanted my photos to stay the way it is taken but i just realized, using Photoshop didn't hurt a lot. It gives drama to your masterpiece!

I can say that Rai Rai Ken is one of our favorite restaurant because
1. It's very acessible to us (located at Robinson's Place Manila)
2. It offers great food with low prices
3. We love japanese food hehe
Ami and I had dinner with Rai Rai Ken (we are into eating talaga hehee)
I just love their Green Tea Iced Tea and it's very resfreshing! Plus point sa kulay niya wahiii.

Ami ordered green mango shake and it's good that its not too maasim and it's not to sweet. Tama lang.

Ami regularly order Gyudon as he loves to taste every Gyudon in town. May I call it the search for the best Gyudon in the Philippines.
Craving much? hehehe.

Unfortunately, they don't have bacon asupara maki :(
More power to Rai Rai Ken!

Had dinner with Lei at Tempura located at Robinson's Place Manila and may I say that it's not a good experience for me. I'm not saying that it is not a good restaurant but I do loose my appetite because of the Mabu Tofu. Mabu Tofu is NOT.FOR.ME. Not that traumatic experience though, sure they serves lots of good dishes, it's just that I ordered a wrong cuisine that night. The place is cozy and gives a very oriental ambiance ( they are playing opm songs that night).
We are given a menu and I would like to try something new for i would like to suggest to come back with ami for we really really love to eat in Japanese cuisine.
As for drinks, Lei ordered Banana Nutshake that taste like banana (of course!) with a twist, I think they putted almonds on the shake that gives the drink a little too ice cream-like.

I ordered brewed lemon iced tea, it tasted like lipton iced tea with lemon drops.

One of my favorite japanese cuisine is asparagus-bacon roll that I first tasted at Nanbantei of Tokyo but it's quite sad it is not available that night. So we end up ordering Gyu Asupara Maki, asparagus that is rolled with beef, at first the food presenation is not that good since I was expecting a fresh look (as what bacon-asparagus roll was serve) but I don't have any idea that it is beef meat until I tasted it, it was very good! It is good in a way that it's not too oily like bacon-asparagus roll plus the fact that the sauce was very tasty.

Lei ordered Tendon. Too bad I didn't taste it for I was very excited for my order.

Realization: Chili Mabo Tofu Don is Not for Me. >.<

So I ended up ordering a much safer dish called California Maki. Hee.

For Lei, thank you for bringing me at Tempura! It was a good restaurant and it really gives me some realization about mabo tofu. hehehe

I now had a reason to plug my earphone and switch my phone's radio in U923 fm :D yey!
I do love them. I was in college when i started imitating the porma of Erning while wishing to own a second hand Volkswagen. I don't care if I started afight conversation against one of my family member everytime i started to switch channel.
Me against all the family members. Strangebrew against all telenovelas. They didn't understand.
So now, let my "kabataan" moments (though 23y/o is not that old right?) flow and reminisce those familiar voices of tado, angel and ramon through the power of radio. w000t!

The film is shorter than a typical movie. The story is good but I think they should give more emphasis on the character such as how and why seven leaves the group, why 3 and 4 hides on the library and so on. I think they should gave the movie a better ending like embedding the chip to 9 that may cause him a super rag doll that saves and reconstruct the world. hee.

After the Arya dinner with Ami, here comes the main event of the night, we watched 500 Days of Summer.
It's not a typical love story.
Boy meets girl. Boy fall in love, girl don't. I just love the phasing and the storyline. I just love that even Tom didn't end up marrying Summer, he continued his life searching for love. He does loose faith but in the end he still keep on trying. :)

so my cheeziest dialogue the day after that night is..
Ami: Hi, Summer.
Me: I'm not Summer. Summer leaves Tom. I'm here staying. ahihi
Oha oha oha~ cheesy na yaaaan!

We had dinner at Arya Restaurant, a restaurant that serves Persian cuisine.
The food was great and served hot, which I know everyone would love to serve foods that way.
Ami ordered strawberry shake (which taste like Kool Aid powdered juice) while I ordered lemonade, which was served ice-cold fresh. Ami says it's too maasim, but the taste is great for me.
For appetizer, we ordered Sambuseh, a fried dumpling stuffed with potatoes and vegetables. Plus point for the chocolate-like sauce poured all over.
For the main dish, the staff recommended Beef Shish as their best seller. The beef is very tender and the grilled tomato complemented very well. Not to mention their aromatic white and yellow Jasmine rice that is very good which is similar to our local "Wagwag/Milagrosa" rice (only Jasmine has longer grains)
Great food! :D yum!
